Orlando – what’s the first thing you think of? Disney World of
course!
Sure, Orlando is the capital of Florida, but what’s really fun is Disney
World. Orlando Disney World is one of the most popular vacation sites in the
U.S. and has been since it opened. Orlando has that wonderful Florida weather,
making it possible to go just about any time of the year. No doubt you know
that Disney World and Orlando aren’t just for kids.
Kids love the storybook, cartoon figures. Adults do, too. My father just loved
amusement parks like this. He would take us to play games and he won stuffed
animals for us there. We all knew he was probably having just as much fun as
we were, if not more. Daddy really liked games of chance. Mother loved the shows.
Me, I just walked around with my mouth open at the larger than life fantasy
world. The dancers and actors are magnificent. Can you imagine being one of
those dancers or actors? Their auditions must be as demanding as anything they’d
do in Hollywood. The talent at Orlando’s Disney World is phenomenal.
Adults can claim they go for the kids or they go for the shows. There are certainly
plenty of both at Disney World. Most children would love to go to Disney World
for vacation. Cartoon characters and storybook characters come to life and interact
with them in person. It’s like a fairytale dream come true! But we all
know that, even as adults, we love our fairytales and dreams. Disney World takes
us back into that childhood space of wonder and make believer.
